This quite little harbour is one of the best places to set out from here, It only takes a few minutes and you can be on some of the best fishing grounds on clew bay. Its located about 4 miles from Newport on the Mulranny (Achill) road

Currane/(Corraun) is a very scenic 6 1/5 mile journey from village of Mulranny and from here it is close to good fishing grounds of Achill and Clare Island with abundance of fish species in good weather
